Like I always hear from the ignorant Republicans, this is America. If they don’t like it – then they should get the hell out.

When the people realize that they can vote someone into office to gain more money and benefits from the government then democracy fails. Our government system cant not function under a socialist system without the foundation of our country being re-written. By the way not all Conservatives live by the motto “This is America. If they don’t like it – then they should get the hell out.” So lets please not go stereotyping political parties. I myself am scared by the current events following the re-election of President Obama. An American drone was fired on by Iran in international waters on Nov. 1, and this was not made public until after the election. Israel, one of our closest allies does not trust our president. Iran is close to developing nuclear weapons with the intention of wiping Israel from the face of the planet and Obama is taking his time on the matter. The director of the CIA quits days before a crucial testimony he is to give. These are just a few of the suspicious and fearful events going on. Every day I dread reading the news because I fear of my future in this country. Obama was reelected by uneducated individuals who do not care to look deeper into politics other than the topics of abortion, gay marriage, and taxing of the rich. I understand legalizing gay marriage maybe the number one concern to some individuals, but when electing a president more matters should be considered before placing a vote. The reason we vote is to elect the BEST candidate to lead our country. I am not a die hard Romney supporter, but the fact that some people refused to vote for him because he was Mormon is appalling. We believe in the separation of church and state. Romney’s religious beliefs would not have been the bases for which he lead this country. Furthermore, the fact that he lost votes due to his lifestyle and how he was “less relate-able to the public” is saddening. I would not want anyone I know running this country. I am fine with someone being our president who knows how to manage his finances and run a successful company. Someone who knows how to take care of his family and be an amazing father. I am also annoyed by my generation (the young voters) because they supported Obama based on the idea that they will receive more money from the government. My generation does not understand the importance of how these decisions will effect our future. Getting money from the government sounds great when you are a starving college student or poor mid-twenty yr old new to the work force. This stage in our lives is temporary, and no I am not from a well off family. My father is on unemployment and food stamps and I am an independent college student. However, unlike so much of my generation I am determined to become something and make the money necessary for my future family to live comfortably. States wanting to secede I see as beneficial to our country. Things in our getting out of control and I am grateful to see that individuals still care to stand up and protest the direction in which our country is headed. I do not wish for our country to be divided but peoples eyes need to be opened to the corruption in our government. The republican party is not innocent themselves.

I said this is what we need to do even before the election, It’s time to start over and learn from all the mistakes of the past. One thing is certain when we allowed Christ to be taken out of our schools thing started to disintegrate and quickly. I’ve lived 64 years and I’ve walked on both sides of the fence so to speak. The side that America has gone is not good and it’s getting worse. Things have to change, even if it’s starting over. I have and you have or will have kids that need a chance, and under this administration they want. I lived in a country of socialism for 20 years and it doesn’t work. all the people wanted was for the gov. to take care of them, They have no desire for anything else, they just want everything handed to them. I don’t want this for my family I want freedom. How about you? O and his gang are going to take away all of our rights. It would not surprise if O and his gang didn’t try to change the laws so that he can stay president from now on. Destiny isn’t the path that is given to us but the one we chose. I chose freedom.
