The Case for Masks Has Taken Another Body Blow

So why the mask hysteria given the complete lack of scientific backing for it? Because people are lazy and want a quick fix. We always want to convince ourselves that we are in control and that if we just do “this thing,” then everything will be fine. Masks have become a security blanket that provide a false sense of invulnerability. 

” They cause people to forgo actual effective mitigation like social distancing.”

“Mitigation” for what reason? We “mitigated” voluntarily for two weeks to prevent overwhelming our health delivery system. That hasn’t happened nor is it going to so pushing social distancing is as useless as face diaper-wearing.

Again, for those who missed it:

“No matter what we do, no matter how stringent or how loose our “mitigation” is, Senior Director of Infection Prevention at Johns Hopkins Med School says same number of people will get it no matter what we do.”

Let’s all get on with living and reach the herd immunity stage when ALL will be truly “safer” though LIFE is not “safe” at any time. Emptypockets

Here’s what I know. Our leaders are vapid and are completely unconcerned with following the actual science.

Our leaders are fascists or cowards. The Democrats want to control every aspect of our lives (totalitarianism) and the Republicans are afraid they might make the wrong decision and have someone say something bad about them on CNN. NightTwister
